I don't believe Carlton would have changed his teaching for them. If Bishop Pearson began preaching inclusion as a doctrine and most members were in total disagreement I believe they were right to leave. However I think that many left following the crowd. Carlton is undoubtedly a man of God and there's so much that can be gleaned from him. If I were a member, I would have stayed because I believe in Carlton Pearson's heart and I believe that God's love is broader than what we comprehend.
